Hi I’m Heather, the person behind Onto the Slopes! I have been a keen skier for a number of years, skiing in different locations around the world, and have a real passion for snow sports!

I am very fortunate to have been on many ski trips with my very first being when I was just 8-years old to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl in Austria. This is a resort which I have visited quite a few times since and remains one of my favourites alongside Lake Louise in Banff, Canada.

I wanted to create Onto the Slopes as a place for skiers and snowboarders to get the advice and tips they need, whether they are complete beginners getting ready for their first experience on the slopes, or more advanced skiers looking to improve their ability!
